Our Purpose

Friends of Mobberley exists for one reason: to give every child at Mobberley Primary School the very best start to their education.

We are a group of parents, carers, and staff who come together to raise vital funds that go above and beyond what school budgets can provide. Every pound we raise is spent directly on the children — on the equipment, experiences, and enrichment activities that make a real difference to their learning and happiness.

"A brilliant education isn't just about what happens in the classroom. It's about the books that ignite imagination, the trips that broaden horizons, the equipment that lets children explore and create. We raise the funds that make all of this possible."

— Friends of Mobberley

What we fund

Every penny raised through our events and fundraising goes towards one or more of these areas. The school and staff tell us what they need most, and together we make it happen.

  • Learning Resources

From books and stationery to specialist equipment for art, science, and DT, we fund the resources that teachers need to bring lessons to life.

  • Outdoor Spaces

We invest in playground equipment, gardening projects, and outdoor learning areas so children can thrive beyond the classroom.

  • Enrichment Activities

Theatre trips, visiting artists, author workshops, and sports days — we fund experiences that spark curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

  • Technology

Tablets, laptops, coding kits, and interactive resources help children build the digital skills they'll need for the world ahead.

  • Wellbeing

Mindfulness resources, cosy reading corners, and sensory equipment support the emotional health and wellbeing of every child in school.

  • School Events

Sports days, leavers' celebrations, and whole-school performances — we help make these milestone moments truly special for children and families.

Get involved

Friends of Mobberley is powered entirely by volunteers — parents and carers just like you. You don't need to commit to a big role to make a difference. Helping at one event, buying a raffle ticket, or simply spreading the word all adds up.

If you'd like to get more involved, come along to one of our open meetings or drop us a message. We'd love to have you on board.
